Wheatfield Prison, the latest prison development in Eire, has several accommodation wings and the ECO Building Management System (BMS) in each wing can intercommunicate with others to provide complete management control of all the cells. The new ECO Pipetank 250 has been specified which supplies flush water to three WCs installed on separate floors. The Pipetanks were fitted in a roof services room and the flush pipes were dropped through common service ducts to each of the floors below. WC cisterns are not required with ECO Pipetank systems, reducing installation time and space, and providing significant cost savings. The sanitaryware specified was from the ECO-Logic Secure Polymer Range for basins and WCs, and the Controllers are from the new Modular Range which link to the ECO Building Management System.
