Medilink I-House Development, West Bromwich

The I-House designed by Medilink West Midlands is a part research, part education project aimed at understanding and developing improved homecare services. Although it is a converted house, the products can all transfer to care homes or flatlets in multiple situations. The I-House receives a constant stream of visitors, from individuals, to Housing Associations, to designers and house builders, all with an interest in homecare developments. ECO-Logic systems have been installed throughout the house including the shower, kitchen and bathroom. The WC flushing uses ‘non touch’ sensors, ECO Pipetanks and remote tank systems. Easy-to-use ‘One Touch’ sensors can be found on the sinks and basins, and the ECO-Logic Super-7 Shower has a remote facility that can be operated from outside the shower area.
